Different kinds of nuts

The hard-shelled fruits we call nuts differ widely in size and flavour. Walnuts, with their wrinkly, hard shells enclosed in a round, smooth husk are favourite in some countries. Long ago, Oriental princes send them as presents to rulers of the lands where the walnut trees didn't grow.
